Scuttlebutt
“Scuttlebutt” in nautical terminology is a water fountain or water cask on a ship. It is also used as slang for “information” or “rumors” that would be passed around this common hang out.
Hey Marines! Welcome to the Scuttlebutt. This is where you post your comments and general information you would like to pass on to the world of MOOSE.
Guess we could call it the “Water Buffalo” since that is what we had to drink out of at MOOSE! But, since scuttlebutt not only refers to the place where information was exchanged but the information as well. I think I’ll stick with this.
Relate information you would not mind having your kids or wife read. Remember, this is cyberspace and a lot of folks will end up perusing our little section of paradise! So keep it readable to the general public. Doc

Thank you Mac for pointing out something was amiss with the page could not find the reason so had tore-do it from scratch, so lost whatever was on the page.
